“Matsuri in Kyushu” introduces some events in Yamaguchi.
1. Yuda hot springs sake festival

Place: Inoue Park, Yuda-onsen, Yamaguchi city (2-5 Yuda-onsen, Yamaguchi City)
If you’re in Japan, then trying some sake is a must!
We are pleased to announce an all-you-can-drink event where you can try a variety of the prefecture’s sakes.
It costs 2,000 JPY for Same-day ticket and 1,500 JPY for advance ticket, but travelers from overseas can join it free of charge with an advance reservation.
This offer is on a first-come-first-served basis to 50 customers.

2. Hagi Kimono Week

Place: Kubota Family Old Residence (1-31-5 Gofuku-machi, Hagi City)
Fee: 4,000 JPY (Kimono rental & dressing)
How about taking a walk wearing a “kimono” in Hagi?
During Kimono Week, visitors can enjoy kimono rental with optional photography included. There will also be workshops where you can experience making various traditional Japanese accessories. As you don a kimono and walk against the fitting backdrop of Hagi, feel yourself being transported back in time!
