「草枕」国際俳句大会は、夏目漱石来熊１００年記念事業として2008年に創設された国際色豊かな俳句大会です。
第１８回大会の作品を募集しています。

俳句の部（一般部門、ジュニア部門、外国語部門）と、俳画の部で作品を受け付けています。

第１７回の外国語部門入賞作品

講評(comment)

　Many areas on this globe are more or less at a crisis point in their political, ethnic and religious condition. The crisis of the country border is symbolized by the phrase  of “wire entanglements” in this haiku. The excellent landing of this haiku is optimally realized with the key term of “butterfly,” which represents our wish and pray for peace in everyday life. This haiku reflects the reality of the present world and is therefore deeply insightful.

　現在国境線をめぐって民族的、宗教的、政治的さまざまの要因で縺れ、緊迫した状況にある地域は多い。そこには争いがあり、時に尊い命が犠牲になっている。「針金の縺れ」にはこじれた国境をめぐる紛争のことである。しかし作者はここに「蝶」を飛ばして平和への願いや祈りを表わしている。世界の情勢を現代を反映した作品で含蓄も深い。
