The overseas Yamaguchi kenjinkais are important global partners and an invaluable exchange base. The 5th Overseas Yamaguchi Kenjinkai World Grand Meeting will be held to gather and deepen exchanges and garner mutual understanding. Due to the pandemic, we were not able to invite everyone to the prefecture and we will be hosting this meeting virtually for the first time.
On the day of the WGM, we will stream the Meeting Ceremony on Zoom which will be available for anyone to watch from the link below.*You will also be able to view it at a later date on our prefecture’s website.

Introduction of Yamaguchi Prefecture through video, reports on activities by prefectural associations, adoption of the conference declaration, announcement of the next host city, etc.

・The 1st WGM was held in Yamaguchi Prefecture in 2004, with 70 participants (9 prefectural associations from 5 countries).
・The 2nd WGM was held in Brazil in 2007, with 120 people (6 prefectural associations from 5 countries).
・The 3rd WGM was held in Yamaguchi Prefecture in 2011, with 90 participants (8 prefectural associations from 5 countries).
・The 4th WGM was held in the U.S. in 2015, with 163 participants (7 prefectural associations from 4 countries).
