Openings
Positions are in kindergarten, elementary, junior high, and senior high schools in various areas of Kyushu, as well as Yamaguchi and Hiroshima Prefectures.
Contract Term
April 1st, 2012 to March 31st, 2013 (Renewable)
Working Days/Hours
Monday to Friday
(Some weekend attendance is compulsory for school events)
08:30 to 17:00 (depending on school)
Qualifications
Native English speaker (minimum of 12 years education with English being the medium of instruction is required).
Valid working visa or ability to be sponsored (BA/BS degree or higher).
Depending on the location, a valid driver’s license (International or Japanese).
Two references from a previous employer or university professor (if you are currently a student).
Experience teaching English or living in Japan is helpful.
TESOL/TEFEL certification is advantageous.
Basic Japanese language skills.
Salary
220,000yen ~ 240,000yen/month or 9,000yen ~ 15,000yen/day
(depending on location)
