  • Notice

Since the number of nationwide cases of people infected with COVID-19 has reduced to about half since its peak, all prefectures have lifted the Quasi-State of Emergency. However, there are areas where the number of new cases has consistently been high, so we must stay cautious.

In Yamaguchi, there have not been a strain on the healthcare system but, there have been clusters in facilities for the elderly and preschools. Because we are still in an unpredictable situation, we are taking countermeasures against the virus in social welfare facilities etc. and reinforce the system to get tested (PCR etc.).

With the new fiscal year starting and people entering new schools and workplaces, the movement of people are expected to become more active. Therefore, we would like to ask for the understanding and cooperation of all residents and businesses in Yamaguchi in continuing to take measures to prevent the spread of the virus.

◆To prevent the further spread of COVID-19(Request to the residents of Yamaguchi Prefecture)
