2010 A Call for Photo Contest + Exhibition!

Pictures of Yamaguchi Taken by International Residents-
Yamaguchi International Students Exchange Association will be organizing a photo contest and exhibition taken by only international people living in the city. By displaying photos of your favorites, we would like to discover how international people think of Yamaguchi City. So, please submit your favorite photos taken in Yamaguchi City and Japan. In the exhibition, an exchange party will be hosted as well. Let’s have fun and enjoy knowing each other through the photo exhibition as a resident who lives in the same city!

Photo Exhibition + Exchange Party
Date: Sunday December 19, 2010
Exhibition Hour: 10:30－11:30
Contest / Review: 12:00〜
Exchange Party: 12:30－14:00
Place: Hirakawa Community Exchange Center
With Free Light Snacks and Non-alcoholic Drinks!
Application for the Exchange Party
You need to inform us your name, age, gender and phone number to join the party by an e-mail, mail, or in person to the following address. Dead line is November 30. Only the first 50 people who submit the application form can join it.

How to enter for the photo contest and exhibition
Contest entry period: October 1－November 30
Eligible Person: International Residents living in or around the Yamaguchi City.
Theme: Any kinds of photos taken in Yamaguchi City and Japan
Judges:
How to submit your photos: Both digital data and printed pictures are accepted. Each
person can submit photos up to 3. For each picture, please add a title and comments within 80 words.
Printed pictures: Size from A4 to W4
Digital Data: We recommend taking pictures by more than 300 million pixels camera. We prefer to receive data on CD-R.
(Other data storage will be also accepted.)
Write your name, age, gender, address with zip code, phone number and e-mail address.
Indicate whether or not your name can be appeared on the title.
Please note that we will not return any photos to the contestants.

Every contestant will receive a small gift for the participation in the contest.
After this photo contest, all entry pictures will be exhibited at some places in the city. Yamaguchi International Students Exchange Association will display them at the event.
